Dear Families,
On Thursday, October 8, 2020, the young adults of St. Peter Parish will be confirmed by Bishop Robert Fisher.  The special Mass will be celebrated at 7:00 PM.  This will be the make-up Mass from last March 19, 2020 which had to be rescheduled due to the Covid-19 pandemic shut-down.
Since we are still feeling the effects of Covid-19, the following guidelines are in place:
  •  Each family will have 4 people: student, sponsor, both parents.  More guests will put us over the mandated amount and we cannot jeopardize being shut down for this joyous celebration.
  •  Everyone in the church will be required to wear a face covering.  Also, please bring your own hand sanitizer.
  •  Doors of the church will open at 6:30 PM.  Please go directly to your pew and remain seated.  This is not the time to visit or take pictures.  To maintain social distancing, please use the door of the church closest to where you will be sitting.
  •  You will be welcome to take pictures outside the church at the grotto, the statue of St. Peter or in the courtyard.  We cannot accommodate pictures inside the church before or after Mass.  Bishop Fisher and Fr. Mike will not be available for pictures.
You courteous attention to these guidelines will be very much appreciated.  We are just so pleased that our young adults will finally be able to be Confirmed!  The Mass will also be live-streamed on our You Tube Channel:
A special thanks is extended to our 8th grade teachers:  Mrs. Rosemarie Henschel, Mrs. Valerie DeBruyne, Mrs. Kathy Falk and Ms. Claire Upchurch and our Home Study parents.
Dozens of people help with the preparation, the actual Mass and the clean-up afterwards.  We extend our thanks and appreciation to each of you.  The Confirmation Mass is always an awesome celebration!
To our students, we have this prayer to share with you.
God has a wonderful plan for your life.
It is as special and unique as you.
He has blessings only you can share
As you follow His Spirit and
Shine for Him in all you do.

Sharing in your special day with love & congratulations,
Mrs. Coll, Mrs. Loyal, Fr. Mike, Fr. Dale, Mrs. Miscavish, Mr. Kowalski & your entire parish family.
