Parish Choir will begin on Wednesday, September 11 at 7PM in the Music Room in the basement of the Fr. Welch Hall. Our rehearsals will continue at this time from 7:00PM to 8:30PM each week.
Choristers (Children’s Choir) will need a few more members to get started. As a parent, I know how difficult it is to get your kids to things, so at this time, the plan will be to hold rehearsals prior to the Saturday mass, beginning at 3:00PM in the church basement music room. The age range for this group is all ages up to age 12(ish). 7th and 8th graders on up can join the Parish choir.

Cantare is no longer functioning in its previous form, due to lack of participation/interest. However, I need everyone to know that people with instrumental talents are very welcome. It would be kind of cool to have the noon mass become a place for folks that play wind and string instruments. (Did you know that I am a teacher and band director? It’s my joy to work with instrumentalists.)

Seasonal Musicians are needed for the upcoming Christmas season. If you are interested in becoming a member of a bell choir, or especially if you play trumpet, trombone, french horn, euphonium/baritone, tuba, or timpani, we could really use you. Of course, all other instruments are welcome, but particularly, brass instruments are going to be heard, and work best in our space. If you like playing for the holidays, you could keep going afterward.
